In the center of the dashboard sits a metallic rotary dial which can alter the drive modes. With a top speed of more than 190 mph, it is a textbook supercar now and not just a tame sportscar. Being an all-wheel-drive monster, the Acura NSX sprints to 60 mph in under three seconds and reaches 100 mph three seconds later. Powered by a 3.5L twin-turbocharged V6 engine coupled with three electric motors, the Acura NSX delivers absolutely staggering performance out on the road. This Japanese supercar here feels the nerdiest of them all. How does the NSX perform against its rivals? The newest and the most unlikely car in this comparison is the ever so luxurious and arguably one of the best looking cars in the segment, the Lexus LC 500. Players like the Audi R8 and the Nissan GT-R have been the go-to usable supercars which offer a spanking performance as well as a practical and livable ride. The 2020 Acura NSX operates in a heavily competitive segment and has been a bit too late to the party. All of this instant electric torque slingshots this stealthy Japanese supercar from 0-60 mph in less than three seconds. The driving experience does not feel corrupted in any way. Rumors about an upcoming NSX Type R, with an upgraded hybrid tri-motor V6 powertrain allegedly producing up to 641 hp (478 kW / 650 PS), redesigned aero, and a more focused suspension setup have been circulating for some time now.
